B.P.A. Troy Sub Station - Spring 2000
These pictures were taken in Northwestern Montana along the Kootenai River between Libby and Troy. As you can see by the photos, this area is also home to the American Osprey. The Fish Hawk, as it is sometimes called, can be found near water in most parts of the world. It feeds solely on live fish and is usually seen hovering over the water, into which it plunges feet first to grasp its prey.
